#BOOK_REVIEW:

LEGALLY UNDEAD is a book that causes intrigues right from the kneatly done cover to the well crafted story itself. This novel is in my opinion a very rare type of urban fantasy. It's without doubt unique with a class of its own that distinguishes it from the pack of other Urban Fantacy. I loved the way in which the vampire universe blends in Elle’s real life thus making the story itself sound real at some point. I can assure you that this is not the kind of novel that you read at the comfort of your seat while leaning back. I personally read it in different sitting positions because I was taken through a series of emotions. At some point, I even took a break when things were up on fire. One of the most interesting parts of the story were the vampires. There’s an extraordinary great sense of humor. The figurative language in it has been well used. The story ended in some sort of a cliffhanger , and left me yearning for Elle’s story. It's a honest 5 star for me.

Blurb:

A reluctant vampire hunter, stalking New

York City as only a scorned bride

can.

Elle Dupree has her life all figured out: first

a wedding, then her Ph.D.,

then swank faculty parties where she’ll

serve wine and cheese and introduce

people to her husband the lawyer.

But those plans disintegrate when she walks

in on a vampire sucking the

blood from her fiancé Greg. Horrified, she

screams and runs--not away from

the vampire, but toward it, brandishing a

wooden letter opener.

As she slams the improvised stake into the

vampire’s heart, a team of

black-clad men bursts into the apartment.

Turning around to face them, Elle

discovers that Greg’s body is gone—and her

perfect life falls apart.
