‘Breaking
Bad meets Nip/Tuck’ in this vodka-soaked and cocaine-infused crime
drama deep in the searing Mojave Desert, now home to plastic surgeon
Doc Martinez: he’s on the run from himself, Russian mobsters, a
family of dirty cops, and a breeched Witness Protection program
that’s as deadly as the Bark Scorpion.
Jeremiah
Treacy is a writer living in Marin County, California. His career in
advertising as a writer and creative director has absolutely nothing
to do with his first effort, NEEDLES, a tale of bad guys getting
worse in the narrows of the Mojave desert, a hot, dry and dirty piece
of topography that is far removed from his Key West, Florida, birthplace where he learned to swim before he could walk. Jeremiah, the
son of a Naval officer has also lived in Charleston, South Carolina;
Greece; Annapolis, Maryland; Monterey, California. Jeremiah's
misspent youth as a surfer in San Diego during the '60s is another
story.
