THE LITTER AUDIO BOOK Kevin R. Doyle ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ GENRE: Horror
They kept to the shadows so no one would know they existed, and preyed on the nameless who no one would miss. Where did they come from, and who was protecting them? In a city that had seen every kind of savagery, they were something new, something more than murderous. And one woman who had thought she had lost everything there was to lose in life would soon find that nothing could possibly prepare her for what would come when she entered their world.

Litter Audiobook Tour

 4/19/24

Although there’s a lot I miss from my youth in the 1970s, here are ten things I don’t miss at all.

            1. Polyester disco shirts (I had way too many of these as a teenager.)

            2. Platform shoes (Fortunately, never had a pair of these.)

3. Ankle-high boots made of plastic that look like leather with a zipper up the side (Did have a pair of these. Besides how hot they were to wear, they did not look good with jeans.)

4. Correction fluid for typewriters (When correction tape came along, it was a Godsend. Correction cartridges for my Smith-Corona even better.)

5. Linoleum flooring

6. 70’s action/adventure TV shows (The comedies of the ‘70s were great. The drama shows were cliched and formulaic, even for back then.)

7. Leaded gasoline

8. Shag carpets

9. Waterbeds (Once you got past the fad aspect, I don’t know anyone who had a good experience with one, and I can only imagine home insurers hated them.)

10. “If the van’s a rockin’ . . .” decals. (As a very young kid, I didn’t get it. When I got older, seriously?)
